Become a Member of SCORE Chapter 36

Small business has become the backbone of our national economy. It is the source of most new jobs being created and the primary training ground for people entering the workforce. We are a resource partner of the Small Business Administration (SBA), a non-profit association dedicated to entrepreneur education and the formation, growth and success of small businesses throughout the Monmouth County area. We provide confidential one to one counseling and business training seminars to help people start and operate successful small businesses.

Chapter 36 is one among 389 chapters and our volunteer members, who are both retired, or actively engaged in their business or profession, are among the 10,500 men and women members, nationwide, helping clients solve their small business problems.

Chapter 36 is looking for a few volunteers to assist us in accomplishing our mission.

We are looking for men and women with experience in business start-ups, financing, planning, marketing, retailing and merchandising, engineering or other aspects of small business management.

Successful applicants, after a short training period, will become members of a special group of people willing to pass on their secrets of success to others. Their guidance and support, based on their years of experience in the business world, can play an important role in helping small businesses achieve success.
